At its first bi-monthly monetary policy
meeting of 2016, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today left its key repo rate,
along with cash reserve ratio and statutory liquidity ratio, unchanged.
As expected by economists, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today left the key
repo rate unchanged at the first bi-monthly monetary policy of 2016, likely
because it wants to wait for the Budget. It also left the cash reserve ratio
and statutory liquidity ratio unchanged.
