Nifty eked out small gains in choppy trade. Today was the expiry day for November series derivative contracts, market was range bound today. Nifty settled below the psychological 8500 level having alternately moved above and below that mark in intraday trade the nifty closed with marginal gains, up 18 points at 8494. Nifty started at 8477 made a high of 8506 and low of 8456 total 50 points was moved by nifty throughout the day.

Continuing their record-breaking run, Nifty hit fresh record highs on Monday, buoyed by a rally in global markets and expectations of more reforms from the government. The Nifty hit 8500 levels for the first time and rallied to 8534 at its day's high. Nifty opened at 8490 and closed at 8530 total 44 points was moved nifty throughout the day. Index ended up 0.62 per cent coming off a life high of 8534 hit earlier in the session.

Bulls are back in action. Nifty went up by 75 points to close at fresh high of 8477. Beating its earlier record high of 8430. Nifty started at 8408 made a high of 8489 and low of 8398 and closed at 8477 total 91 points was moved by nifty throughout the day.

NIFTY OUTLOOK FOR FRIDAY 21 NOVEMBER,2014

Lackluster movement was there in the market throughout the day, but at the time of closing Nifty reclaimed the 8400 level by rising 19 points and closed at 8401. The nifty shuttled between 8353 and 8410 levels. It had shed 48 points in the previous two sessions. Today Nifty opened at 8406 made a high of 8410 and low of 8353, total 57 points was moved by nifty throughout the day.

Today markets was moved in a very narrow range for most part of the trading session and corrected in last 90 minutes.The Nifty after scaling a new peak of 8,455 at the outset, beating previous record of 8,454 touched on Tuesday, fell.
